Betty Boop Poster

Betty Boop’s twentieth-century legacy as a world-famous pinup girl lives on in the wide array of Betty Boop posters still for sale online and in retail stores from major poster distributors. You’ll find them in all kinds of colour arrangements and featuring Betty Boop in all kinds of styles of dress. So shop around a while before you settle on one or two that you like the most.

One simple Betty Boop poster presents the starlet in a red dress against a red background. At the bottom is her name in white lettering, bordered by a pair of miniature Betty Boops. In another poster, also with a red background, you see Betty with a short plaid skirt. Pudgy has a hem of the skirt in his mouth and is tugging at it.

Pudgy tugs at Betty’s clothes in quite a few posters, in fact. One other example is a picture of Betty against a rainbow background and with a large bow around her dress’s mid-section. Pudgy’s chompers are on one end of the bow.

Do you prefer a white background? There are plenty of these, too, like the one that has a large black circle. Betty sits on the bottom rim of the circle in a red dress with her back to the viewers. Another poster is coloured black-and-white, like the cartoons that Betty starred in during her glory days in the early 1930s. Its look is distinctly vintage: Betty wears a gaudy evening gown and curtsies above the caption “Betty Boop” and subtitle “Classic since 1930.”

Betty is sharp and witty in other posters. Take, for example, the Betty Boop poster that has a picture of her next to the caption “Coffee, chocolate, men. The richer, the better.” She dons the biker helmet again, coupled with a revealing gown instead of biker gear, in another poster. This one has the caption “Good girls are bad girls that don’t get caught.”
Betty Boop wears many hats, such as that of a biker girl. With that in mind, there is a Betty Boop poster in which she dons biker gear and stands astride a motorcycle, an open highway beneath her feet and a bright blue sky above her. A caption on the top right reads “Born 2 Boop.” Betty wears combat boots—literally—and a camouflage halter top and miniskirt in a poster that states “Support our troops! Cuz nobody else can fill their boots.”
