Betty Boop Stuff

For every room in your house, you can be sure that there is Betty Boop stuff that you can find for decorating it. First, for your porch, you can get an indoor-outdoor thermometer whose head forms the top. The mercury reads Fahrenheit temperature on one side and Celsius on the other.

Lots of Betty Boop stuff is on the market for use in kitchens. There is a napkin holder with red hearts on a white background, and Betty in the centre wearing a white dress and wiping her mouth with a napkin. A pair of Betty Boop-styled salt-and-pepper shakers can accompany it; one is shaped like Betty wearing a white dress, while the other has her in a black dress.

If you want to create a Betty theme for the whole kitchen table—not a bad idea if you have a house party coming up—you can get these and then prepare your cuisine while handling the hot dishes with a Betty Boop potholder. There is one that is mainly red and illustrated with a film-studio director’s chair at which Betty is seated. A black-and-white clipboard reads “Hot stuff. Take one.”

For the bathroom, there is a tube of shower gel with a complementary puff ball. The puff ball shows Betty winking at you. You can attach a set of Betty Boop wind chimes to the shower door. One set sticks on easily via plastic suction cups. The base is dark pink with red lips and a tiny figurine of Betty.

If you’ve got a home office, you’ll need some paper and pencils for taking notes. An arrangement of magnetic paper and matching pencils is there to provide. The paper has red hearts all around the edges and, at the top, Betty sitting on a stool and wearing black heels and a black bustier. The red pencils detach from the pad when you want to write with them and then reattach by way of the built-in magnets.

Some Betty Boop stuff will go in just about any room of the house. For example, the glass snow domes featuring her will be great adds to a living room, library, or bedroom. There is a glass dome with Betty seated at a piano. In another, she’s dressed as Santa Claus and is surrounded by Christmas trees. Other Betty Boops in glass domes are landing on the moon in space suits and lounging on the beach in bikinis.
