Little Tikes Playground

Most kids relish a trip to the nearest neighbourhood playground. Wouldn’t they love even more to have playgrounds right in their own backyards? The Little Tikes playground series is here to oblige with full units of climbing and sliding arrangements. Each model is big enough that kids will find many ways to have fun on each and stay entertained for hours. Yet each model is also small enough that it will fit squarely in a corner of your lawn.

First in the series is simply named the Little Tikes Playground. Its play space includes four unique play levels and slides that exit from two of them—one three-foot-long slide and a bigger, wavy-shaped 6-foot-long slide. Climbers lead up into each level. Underneath all the levels, slides, and climbers is a tunnel kids can crawl through to reach an additional play area underneath.

This playground’s official recommended age group is 3 to 4 years, but happy customers have reported that their nine- and 10-year-olds still have fun on this playground, even after many years of use. Some kids get creative and place blankets over the top to create extra hideaways and makeshift forts. With its weather-resistant materials, you can be sure that it will hold up well over time.

The Little Tikes Endless Adventures PlayCenter Playground is another Little Tikes playground that’s a hit among kids of many ages. This is a bigger unit that essentially resembles a traditional playground in miniature. Its components include a swing set with two swings and a glider, a sandbox, a climber that leads to a platform with an overreaching canopy, and a slide that exits from the platform. The recommended age group is a much wider 3 through 10.

Plenty of tunneling, climbing, and sliding is to be had also on the Little Tikes 8-in-1 Adjustable Playground. Two open-air towers—one 5.5 feet high, the other 4.5 feet high—connect via a climb-through tunnel. The taller tower has two individual levels and two slides. In the shorter tower are a swinging door and windows.

The best part about this playground unit: There is no one way to arrange its parts. The components can fit be arranged in a total of eight ways. So once your kids have had it for a while and gotten used to one layout, you can shift it around and give them a little variety. It’s recommended for ages 2 through 8.
