Little Tikes Pool
Little Tikes keeps coming up with all kinds of play units for all kinds of outdoor play. Those include the kind of outdoor play that involves water. Swimming pools are available in varying shapes and sizes from the product catalogues.
Some of items in the Little Tikes pool inventory will make your kids feel like they’ve just taken a day trip to their favourite water park—even if they haven’t even had to leave their home backyard. The Slam ‘N Curve Slide, is a giant inflatable pool-plus-water-slide with an additional basketball hoop and ball.
Kids scale a slippery wall—don’t worry, it’s not too slippery; grooves all along the sides allow for fairly easy climbing—and reach the top to slide down the slide into the pool of water at the bottom. You secure the whole shebang to your lawn with stakes and tether ropes.
The Rocky Mountain River Race is another Little Tikes pool that has a water-park feel to it. Kids enter its pool depths, which are actually just wading-pool deep. But they’ll get plenty wet nonetheless from the three sprayers up on top. Kids can climb up the climbing wall in the centre and then, on reaching the top, slide down either of the two slides that lead back into the wading pool.
The Rocky Mountain River Race is another inflatable play unit. You pump it up and then fasten it with the set of stakes and ropes. Don’t worry about getting an air pump. It comes with a powerful mechanized blower that pumps it up for you and provides a steady air flow to keep it inflated.
The Wade Lagoon, on the other hand, is a Little Tikes pool that’s better for sitting back and chilling in the water and sun. It’s another wade pool, though it has the special comfort of a parasol shade up top. Corner seats at all of the sides are great for relaxing. They’ll even have cup holders next to the seats for holding sodas or juices. As play units go, this one is in the high-end luxury category.
Kids can lounger under the shade. Or they can lounge at the periphery of the pool, where cascades of water spray off the parasol and douse anyone sitting underneath. There is a slide on this pool, too, albeit a small four-foot-long one that’s just long enough to offer a quick slide right into the pool.
